Use the Contact page to reach our team about personal data. We are responsible for the personal information we collect when you use this website, contact our team or make a purchase.
2. Information collected
Account records contain your name, email address, a password hash, role, account status and creation date. We also store watchlists, bids, purchase records and related administrative activity. Plain-text passwords are not stored.
Security controls use identifiers derived from an IP address to limit repeated requests. Hosting access and error logs may contain IP addresses, request details and diagnostic information. Messages you send by email or telephone are handled through our company’s corresponding communication services.
3. Purposes and legal grounds
Account and transaction information is used to provide requested services, process bids and purchases, contact buyers, prevent abuse and resolve disputes. Security processing supports our company’s interest in protecting the service; transaction records may also be needed for applicable legal obligations.
Creating an account does not subscribe you to advertising.
4. Access and disclosure
Authorised administrators can access buyer and transaction details. Public bid history displays a bidder number rather than the buyer’s name or email. Hosting and communication providers may process information needed to operate their services. Delivery arrangements may require us to share relevant contact and delivery details with transport providers to complete your purchase.
Our visitor statistics include: IP addresses, browser user-agent strings, country estimate, referring source, campaign, device, pages visited, active time, scroll depth and purchase or bidding events. Signed-in visits may be associated with the buyer account. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control requests are excluded. Country estimates can be refreshed by staff through Country.is, which receives the IP address for that lookup. Live chat stores messages, name and email contact details and technical session data for support. Delivery maps load map tiles from OpenStreetMap, which receives the requesting browser’s IP address and map tile requests. Address lookup and route calculation use Photon and OSRM; these services receive the submitted address or route coordinates. Purchase records include uploaded identity/payment evidence and purchase approval records accessible only to authorised staff and the account holder.
5. Retention
We retain account, bid, purchase and support records to manage accounts and orders, maintain transaction history, prevent fraud and meet applicable obligations. These records are not automatically deleted when you sign out or close an account. Records needed for a dispute or legal obligation may be retained after an account closes.
Visitor records older than 180 days are removed during routine website activity. Contact our team to ask about retention or request deletion of your personal information, including account records, transaction documents and support communications.
6. Your requests and rights
Contact our team to request access, correction or deletion, or to raise a concern. Depending on the law that applies, you may also have rights to restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent, and complaint to a competent supervisory authority.
Identity verification may be needed before information is disclosed or changed. Deletion is not available directly in the account interface and may be limited where records must be retained lawfully. Do not send your password when making a request.
US privacy requests
Depending on your state of residence, applicable law and whether the company is subject to that law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of personal information and to opt out of certain uses. Contact the company through the Contact page to submit a request or ask about a response. Verification may be required and legal exceptions may apply. Applicable rights to appeal or non-discrimination are preserved.
Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals exclude visits from the visitor statistics. This setting does not prevent processing needed to sign in, place bids, complete purchases or secure the service.
7. Cookies and security
The website uses a first-party session cookie to support signed-in access and form protection. Read the Cookie Policy for details. Technical controls include password hashing, access restrictions and protected forms. No system can guarantee absolute security; report suspected account misuse promptly.
8. Policy updates
We update this policy when our privacy practices change. The date above shows when it was last revised. Contact the company with questions about this policy.
